Extension 2 English _7_I can’t move – my muscles have frozen.   
Woad.  He has woad markings.  But how is that possible?  The markings can only be painted by a Druid.   
Somebody grabs my shoulder.  Shakes me.  Just kill me.  I don’t want to fight anymore.  “Aideen!”  “Kevyn?”  Where did he come from?  “Aideen, you have to come with me right now.  There’s nothing more you can do.  That forest is ancient, and the oak and rowan there will protect us.”  His face is like a wooden mask. & Extension 2 English _7_

Extension 2 English _6_It was early morning when Boudica called all of us together.  The Romans had pulled back for a brief moment, and we were gathering together the wounded, carrying to tents those we could help.  I stayed there tending them.  The shreds of mistletoe bound to the wounds helped greatly, but I knew that we had nowhere near enough.  Where were the Druids?  For many of the injured, the aid of the wise men was their only hope.  But they were nowhere to be found.  I was so absorbed in my work that I jumped at the sound of the horn; the pure note cutting through the sobbing and groani Extension 2 English _6_

Extension 2 English _5_I look proudly down at the ranks of men standing before me. Their discipline is unmatched, their loyalty absolute. They look up to me, awaiting my words. “Ignore the din made by these barbarians and their empty threats.”  I step down from the rock and move through them. “There are more women than men in their ranks. They are not soldiers, nor are they properly equipped. We have beaten them before, and when they see our weapons and valour they’ll crack!” I smile at the thought of the other weapon my soldiers will wield. “What glory awaits you! Our small fame will win the renown of the whole army!” I Extension 2 English _5_

STILL ALIVE...

Hellooo everybody...as you may guess I am not currently in St Bees... we are just reaching the end of our easter break and :icondreaymii:, our friend Kelsie and myself have spent the last two weeks experiencing the joys and wonder of the Emerald Isle...that's right, IRELAND! Wheee! We went on a 10 day tour that went right round the coast of the island of Ireland (sounds funny when you say it!), beginning and ending in Dublin. We're in an internet cafe in the middle of Dublin at the mo, and I'm getting cross at Facebook cos it won't let me on... there are some pictures of our trip on Kelsie & Tiarne's pages though (I very cleverly forgot to bring my disk with all my photos on it - it's packed nice and safely in my bag back at the hostel) D:
Ireland is beautiful - the people are much more friendly and open than in England, and the countryside is just beautiful. The national parks and places such as the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry are spectacular. The locals seem to use any excuse to go to the pub. Guinness is gross, Baileys is good,and apple cider is nothing to get excited about (although we did try a pear cider that wasn't too bad...although it took me & Tiarne about 2 hours to get through a single can between the two of us)
I am going to attempt facebook again now, so HAPPY EASTER! I hope everybody's well. I miss you guys!
